Oasis Motel & Campground

The Oasis Campground is embraced by the rolling hills just east of the town of Antigonish.  There are two levels to this campground, separated by a pastoral setting which contain plum, cherry, apple, pear and mixed softwood and hardwood trees.

 

There are 31 serviced camp sites with water, electricity (30Amp) and sewer hookups; ten of those are seasonal.  Eight unserviced sites are available for tenting. Amenities include flush toilets, free showers, disposal station, gazebo or shelter area, fire pits, laundromat, playground and swimming pool. 

 

Ice and bundled firewood are for sale.

 

A four minute drive away is the town of Antigonish with many fine restaurants to please the palette. Sandy beaches are within a short drive including Pomquet Beach, Bayfield Beach and Mahoney’s Beach. As well, there are a number of hiking trails to explore in Antigonish County. The Antigonish Highland Games, the Riverside Speedway and the Antigonish Golf Course attract sports minded people from afar, not to mention the rising popularity of the tuna fish charters.
